Rusted hole in lower driver side wheel well.

Hey guys,

Ive found there to be a rusted hole behind my driver side wheel on the engine bay wall, Its about 4" x 6" inches big.

Is it possible to sand down all reminaing rust/ cut of the rust and possibly weld a piece of sheet metal on both the engine bay side and wheel well side to close off the hole and restore strength to the engine bay wall?

I dont have a picture of it yet but im going to get one up.

i think thats common on s13 because of brake fluid leakage removing the paint and exposing the metal. imo i think you should cut that section out and weld in a ew peice of 16g metal.
