well was driving the other day and had noticed my head lights were gettin dimmer and the head lights were getting weak. i knew what was going wrong my alternator was taking a crap. so the next day i went and got a new alternator and had it tested guy says its ok. Now in the middle of installing the new alternator i guess i forgot to unhook the battery terminal and when i was installing the new one the white/red wire must of touch some thing cuzz there was a bit of spark. after the install and every thing seemed good i guess. the head lights were still dim no interior lights work the radio, dome light, gauge lighting clock nothing.
been looking at my manual and cant seem to point out the specific problem.
ive tried checking all fuses near the kick panel driver side and found 1 fuse busted and replaced it but still no lights. tried checking the fuse box under the hood and all fuses seem fine?! maybe i missed some thing?

IF ANY 1 has Any info or has had same problem plz let me know.

 

have you checked the headlamp relay in the under hood relay box?

 

Sounds like you blew your 75A alternator fuse. Don't know exactly where it is on a S14 but on a S13 it's in the fuse block near the battery. When I blew mine, all the same things you listed were out until I replaced it.

nm found it. its the FL 7.5 fuse under the hood! thnx guys

 

RAWR i bought a couple 7.5a fuses and blew them all too!
every time i put a new 1 and start the car it blows?
did i miss some thing here?
what the hell did i do!?
