I am trying to find out, what if ANY OE seat will bolt directly into my 40s.
If I have to swap the rails over, that's fine, but I am not looking to modify anything to get them in. These seats are just nasty IMO and look like they came out of a geo metro. Almost as bad as the del sol seats.
I read the S14/5 will bolt in, but they aren't exactly common or cheap.
I'd like to swap in a seat from a G20t or a 3rd gen max, but the 3rd gen won't work from what I can tell. A 4th gen might, but that lacks support even in the I30t version.

 

all I know is the s14 seats because I have personally bolted some into my old coupe 240sx

 

I've only found 2 sets of S14 seats available locally. 1 the guy wants $500 for the whole set. The second the guy wants $150 for the front pair, but they have an econocar pattern to them which is just crap to me.

 

I would rock the second ones, I'm pretty sure the back seats from an s14 don't fit in the s13 because the curves on the sides of the seats don't match up
