Who like the JDM amber/clear lights?
Well guess what... I got something better I'm working on.
What is it, you ask? Well if you must know...
As you all know, I've been dabbling in LED's lately, finishing my dome light (which I gotta show pics of!) and my third brake light with very good results. Next on my list are turn signals. Sure, you can go and buy the uber cool JDM clear/amber lights... but those are played out and not very original, being OEM equipment and all. I want something unique (as far as I know, that is).
I'm going to make an LED based turn signal that uses both white and amber LEDs. White will light up with parking lights, and will turn amber when the blinker comes on, alternating between white and amber.
Thoughts? Questions?

NOOO they did it!!! Crap
Well, not really. They did it with the parking lamps, but mine will own theirs... I'm just waiting on parts to come in.
Dome light pics tonight between pizza deliveries.

This is my third brake light on my 'vert.
This is the dome light. The camera does it no justice. It is bright in the pics... but you need to see it in person to really understand how intense it is... and it looks really blue in the pics.
Thoughts so far.

hmm... idk. Depends on which 240 dome light. The ones without the sunroof (the big ones) would be a little more expensive, with the 'vert and the sunroof equipped models being a little less expensive. I gotta get my hands on some good quality LEDs because those in mine are cheap chinese POS LEDs. Notice how blue they are, and I've run into like 4 out of 100 that are defective. In fact, one is bad in my dome light now, so that particular array of 3 doesn't light up. Thats 24 LEDs in my light btw.

yeah i dont have a sunroof in mine...that light looks clean though wo i wont mind paying a lil more. today i was looking for somethin in my car and it wasnt light at all except the lil bit of light from a street lamp, so once you find some good quality LEDs, hit me up..maybe i can get that and the clear/amber at the same time if you plan on selling those too?

just some advice, don't be a sellout dude, you do fantastic work and spend alot of time doing this. If you offer your services to people make sure you really ask for a fair return. Charging by the hour is a good starting point.
