has anyone changed the wiper assembly? my 91 wiper assembly fell apart on me on sunday and i know how to get to it but once i get the nuts off the wiper arms they dont come off. are they threaded on? if so how do i get them off to get to the assembly? that and now ive got to go try to find a replacement one now

I took mine off and painted them when I first got the car, you just have to man up on them if I remember correctly. Grab the fat part where the bolt is and just pull up, maybe try to twist them a little but they come right off after you remove the nuts, they aren't threaded.
