180sx has SR engines (better HP), 240sx has KA engines (better TORQUE). but u probably already knew that.

I know about the engines but why are people doing a 180sx conversion? They look the same to me.
I did search and I found out the chassis codes but didn't find much about the physical differences

But what is there to like? All the pics I have seen of 180 look like a 240 except for the corner window sticker and rear tail light. I am just trying to figure out if there are any body differences like headlights, bumpers, fenders, etc?

So it really doesn't look extremely different. Are the lights a little different?
The thing that was confusing me was that some people want to swap the 180 lights and I thought since they are both pop up why would you want to.

if you are talking about the headlights they are different. 180sx has a h4 style bulb and the 240sx has a sealed beam. the conversion that you are talking about is this. other than the stuff mentioned in this thread that is about it. no difference in the body other than the firewall which is set up for rhd.
