is a 1990 KA24E 5spd just as good as a 91? or would it be better to keep searching for a 91 and up KA24DE 5pd? cause i found a 1990 5pd with 78,000 original miles, but i dont want to go through the effort of checking it out and not liking the performace, i dont plan on swapping it out either, not till the engine goes bad, I'm a KA person, i have a 1991 auto right now.

EDIT: BTW i also already know of the obvious Dual Cam set up to single Cam, but i just want to know what else, I dunno anyone with a 89 or 90. thanks

 

I would personaly go for a 91 and up if I found one with good mileage. Go for the car thats in better shape body, interior and engine wise.

 

so there isnt much difference in performance? this 90 looks ahell alot better tht some 91 and ups ive seen, or they are high mileaged and asking way too much for it seeing how they are using this new found 240sx craze to there advantage, ive never driven a 90 so i dunno how how the KA24E performs to a KA24DE

 

You will feel the performance difference, but it isn't that drastic. Other then that there is no real difference.
