I have a 1995 auto 240sx SE. I'm located in NJ. The front end needs to be replaced. I need the whole 9 yards: Hood, fenders, headlights, bumper. I am not interested in the S15 conversion because it's so damn expensive. But perhaps some of you 240 owners have a heads up in some other things I can do with $3,000. (what I have to spend on the damage) All I need is the body work, so please don't suggest an ENGINE SWAP. Geeeeeeeez. I'll get that RB26 later. Can anyone help this Jersey girl out?...

mm, $3000 is a lot to work with on the body... I would find someone selling their front end due to a s15 conversion.. or find a junk yard where the the rear end of the car was only wreaked and get those pieces.. then you can do a nice painjob, and have a little left over for some wheels/tires or maybe a 5 speed swap if you care to do that...maybe even start a nice suspension setup, or something...

check out the private forsale section of the forum, and maybe ebay.com and some other forums to see what you can find... searching is your friend.

depending on how much work you can get done w/out having to pay for it (meaning you do it yourself or find somebody who will do for you for free...) You should be able to get the front end re-built for $3k. Like lrb_2000 said just keep checking the forums (this one, and others like 240sxforums.com 'n' such) for people selling parts~ ppl are crashing cars all the time and parting stuff out. Junkyards are even cheaper. I actually picked up my whole car ('95 like yours) for $3k and the front end is in "good" condition. Patience and searching, searching, searching, will be your best friend. Oh 'n' welcome to the forum...
