it really depends on your preference. the SR is by far the most common/popular, and there is a good reason for this. but that dosent mean other engines nor the KA are bad engines nor inferior in any way. its all perspective. the best bet is to search forums, this one, www.zilvia.net www.freshalloy.com and www.ka-t.org for more information on engines.

Dont forget SDP-ONLINE.COM

The spot to go for the LSx swaps for your 240. Sorry, I just cant get enough over the fact that this is the most intelligent swap there is. Light weight motor, HUGE HP and torque and 50 state legal. Also easy to mod to increase power. If I wasnt planning on stepping up to a newer car, I would do so in a heart beat.

I think you're mistaken. Must have been a brain fart. I could have sworn that you said sr20det but im pretty sure you meant LSx.

Not to take anything away from the SR20, but LSx > SR20. There is no argument.

My plan is to do some cosmetic work on the S14 and then save up $ for an '05 base model Vette. I love the LS2.

anything is possible, I could get an '04 Z06 right now for 25K. If I make enough $ within this year, I may just get the Z06 instead.
