Hey guys wasap just here because me n my friend bought our cars this folowing months. I got a nissan 240sx 1992 le coupe 168 km stock. My friend got a toyota supra 1989 220 km stock. I was wondering if someome can tell me wat the pros and cons of each one is, which ones a overall btr car, if u think otherwise that the supra wont beat the 240. gime ur opinions.

WOW! auto huh? I'll tell you what, I'll just say this, everyone has different opinions and have different point of views, BUT, have some pride in yourself man and tell him your car is better! He'll probably take you out on a drag race, but you said both your cars are stock. I say the only real way to find who is faster if thats what you ment is to have an actual race! Let know how that goes, we'll be waiting.

The reason I said that is because you might have a chance if something is wrong with his car but you can atleast say you guys went at it. I think your car looks better if that helps you out some.

well supras are heavier by far and they are notorious for blown headgaskets.
There's a chance u can beat him if he sticks w. the stock engine..but once he drops a 2JZ in there...or even a 1jz..that's a whole new ballpark.

Well, 240 might take him off the line. But if your going on the highway I think he'll easily pull away.

Some Supra's came with a stock turbo, did they not? If so, then you loose.

But remember .. RUBBIN'S RACIN' !! ... J/k don't throw him into the woods lol.

correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't he have two more pistons than you do? Why compare apples to oranges?

well...their both pretty similar...in a way...its wierd...but their both great cars...but im biased here...

and btw the supra has a 7m-GTE 6 cyl if its turboed...and if its NA...im guessing it has the same basic 7M..

MMMM, supras, main diffrences IMO

Weight, 240s clock in around 2700, supras around 3648

The supra turbo is the 7mGTE and cost about $1,000+ and puts out 232HP and 254 TRQ.

The 7mgte is a 3.0 L

Supras dont have really good headgaskests, but other than that there pretty solid

My guess if its a turbo it will probably take you, but, at the same time, if you had a sr20det it might be close do to about 900lbs, which is aporx .4 1/4 sec.

Good thing about supras, is with a inkae, full exhaust (test pipe) and a boost controller putting 11 psi it puts out about 300hp.

I was looking for one for some time, but.....i dotn know what i want anymore lol

So whats the stock power on an NA supra? One of my friends keeps telling me how his 89 will woop my ***. 3600 pounds huh, Wow those things weigh a ton. I think I could take him...What do you think guys? I dont race often, but if someone keeps pushing me I will to shut them up LOL.

200 @ 6,000 rpm
188 @ 3,600 rpm

I think hell take you, cause, the ka24de puts out 155, he has 45 more hp, and his trq number is really ridiculous -28 more tq

Weight will make a diffrence, but that much i dont think so, like i said in theory .4 seconds in the 1/4.

You guys should go down to the track one day, race, and put up the specs, that would be cool

yea whoops i forgot bout this post, yea were both automatic and bone stock, were just starting off, he didnt get a turbo supra mening it has 200 hp lol of course u people wi ll be liking the 240 after all were in a 240 forum let me try this post in a supra forum lol lets see other opinions and yea ill get back to you who wins ok
