240 vx 3KGT

How do you think a 240 would compare with a 3000GT in terms of handling .. Its not a fair comparison in terms of power as even the stock 3000GT SL has about 220 HP or so ...

But does being a rear wheel drive help a 240 in handling the twisties better than the Mitsu ...

Need more info on your query...

Set-up an driver ability are the main keys there.
(but dont forget the weight difference too, 3000GTs are
heavy)

AWD usually has an advantage, but a 240 w/diff, suspens. and good shoes...good driver has the weight advantage..

if we're talking the AWD 3000GT, then the 240 duzn't compare, weight difference or not.

the FWD 3000GT is a different story- i'd take the 240

I hear the 3000gt handles like crap, awd or not. They're great for drag racing, but a 240 would definately out handle it.

i have to admit i've never ridden in/driven any 3000gt's, but all of the AWD cars that I have ridden in/driven handle amazingly.

Is it me or does it seem that you get away with a lot more with an AWD car?

I would still want the 240.

Not to defend the Honda and get down on the Nissan but I noticed you didn't slam the Nissan for its bad weather handling.

The Nissan is fun in the bad weather (when I want it to loose control, not when it wants to) but when I have to get somewhere the Honda does the job.

it's a known fact that rwd cars are not the easiest to drive in the winter. fun at times, but buffalo winters call for more sensible transportation

I know. Your area is one that calls for trucks and SUVs. I hear you actually get to use 4x4 up there. The city is full of SUVs that have never used their 4x4 features.

you would be suprised how many people out here require 4x4's out here. alot of times you're assed out if you don't have sumthin that can battle feet of snow.
