240sx 92 near stock VS Interga GS 90 w/intake

Ok, here's my first Question, Cut I win, cause there's this guy, who want's to race, and I don't now if I should, because I'm Planing to do Port and Polish, Cam's and Headers, before I race Him, that's because I Hear that he has beat a Civic SI 91 W/cams, I hope I don't sound stupid!!, but I don't have the experience.

Thank's

The first one to the finish line will win - that's the only real answer to this question.

who cares if you don't win, race him and find out. if your gonna race, you're gonna lose sometimes. you do have a chance though.

if ur a decent driver u should be able to take him...91 civic si with cams won't make impressive numbers unless he did a b16a swap (the engine found in the newer si's) i believe the 91 si had 125 hp? could be less not sure...

Look guys!, I now I sound a little chiken, but it's just that if we go to crude number, our cars make, 8.2 frm 0-60 and that integra makes 7.7 0-60, so I now it's going to be on the driver, I'm new, but not that new, I just want to get some opinions, that's all, and I now this is not going to impress no body, but I have drive 9.50 sec's in the 1/8 off mile, I don't now for 1/4, but I'm very sure that I'll be around 16's in the 1/4, which is all that the car can do in Stock, correct me if not, but I mean, I consider my self a decent driver.........but if we go to stock power, I think I'm going, to loose, but I'll give it run any way.

Thank's....

P.S. and the civis I mentioned it's not b16a, but it's twin cam Integra motor non vtec......I don't now the year on the motor and still fast..

I Won!!!

Ok, I finaly meet whith the Integra Guy in the 2 week's ago, 1/8 Race, and I beat hem by 1 car!!!, and I beat a MX-6 to, and a 3000GT Automatic, I now it was not a Turbo, of course, but I won any way, and I lost ugly vs a Mitsibishi VR-4 ALL WD, It simply jump out of the line 2-3 cars away, but it didn't pull more than that. so I guess I'm a decent driver?.....

Happy new year!!

Lol guys to enlighten you on the integra and there motors(cuz I have a teg also) The non-Vtec DOHC engine that is in the integras is the B18b1. Stock hp on it is around 140. And the D16 motor thats in the SI's is crap, but you got to watch out for the B16a motors cuz they can be killer.

Um...the D16 in the SI? D16 is the SOHC EX engine. B16a2 is in the 99-2000 Civic SI. If you are ever curious about engines check this out:

hell yeah

sweet kills... fight rice with rice, lol. rwd deffinatly helps with the launch, too; ya get more traction 'cause o the weight transfering to the rear wheels. RWD always has more fun than FWD anyways! keep them hondas at bay!
