well, first off, expect that hp number to be a little lower due to age, and to be honest, $4000 is kind of a lot for an S13, then again, 107,000 miles isn't terrible for it being a 15 year old car. what condition is the car in? i'm pretty sure if you keep the search going, you'll find a better deal.

I just paid $2000 for a 93 with 143000 miles... it has some very minor issues (little dings and whatnot), but all in all, it is in good condition.

Unless the car is absolutely flawless, I bet you'll be able to find a better deal too. Or, try to talk the guy down a grand or two!

Unless it has like 50k miles and is in amazing condition, or has an SR or suspension or something like that, that's too much for an S13. How clean is the car?

I thot it was until 1994 that they had 155. I'm pretty sure the older ones have the KA24E with 140.

and check this out, its in S carolina

you are correct, 89-90 KA24E made 140, while the 91-94 KA24DE's made 155.

4000 is a lot. reason with the guy. there will always be issue with these cars. I suggest doing a full tune up: wires, plugs, fuel filter, caps, rotors, air filter, 02 sensor.

when I got my 93, I did all that plus new brake pads, rotors, and lines, motor mounts, tires, valve cover gasket, radiator hoses, interior pieces, shifter and so on.

now, the car runs like a champ
