240SX or Integra

Hey everone, Im not sure if this thread wil get deleted or not.
Im looking for a daily driver, something fuel effecient but yet is fast and has good potential.
Im currently stuck between the Acura Integra LS and the 240sx.
I believe the 240sx that I would want is the s14.
By what Ive read, the stock 240 doesnt have that much and is a bit heavier, also isnt as efficient.
The main things that atract me about the 240 is the rear wheel drive and the apperance. On the other hand the integra is faster, lighter and more fuel effecient.
So i was wondering if anyone on this board, being more knowledgable on the 240 than me could help me out with this decision. Thanks.

Well most of us here are Die-Hard NISMO guys.

90% here will tell you take to the 240 simply because we don't like hondas.

Facts:
-240 looks better
-240 has RWD
-240 Handles better
-Integra isn't faster. .. as far as I've seen, but a few cheap mods <$100 will make it faster.
-240 sounds nicer
-240 isn't as common as integra, thus being more prized.
^^ None of this information is biased. (besides looks)

I love hondas, don't get me wrong, my first love was the Prelude, but hands down, i would pick the 240sx.

I know that most of the people here will say to choose the 240 but thats why Im asking. I know a bit more about the integra than the 240. I read that the 0-60 time on the integra ls is 7.6 while on the 240 its about 10. I dont know if this is right or wrong. I also read that the integra handles better. Not trying to argue but trying to back each side. Thanks for the response and to anyone else who contributes.

0-60 is not 10sec on a 240. mine is probably a low 7 with i/e. i agree with cape's points... but remember the teg has many diff trims with different motors. You are comparing apples to oranges. I suggest you drive both and then make a decision.

bone stock the integra is faster, handles better and gets getter fuel economy based purely on numbers. The integra was known as the fastest FF car until the 06 civic si was released. but hopefully you arnt going to keep your car stock so this shouldnt matter to you anyways. as for aftermarket support there is more than enough for both cars. the 240 will also give you more problems mechanically, this makes the integra sound like the better candidate but then why would the majority of people on this board rather die than sell our 240 for an integra? thats for you to figure out. get the car that suits you, not the car that other people tell you to get.

Thanks everyone for your replies they have been really helpful. Are there any websties you can point me to, to help me out with the different models and engines. At the moment, I can only tell the difference between an s13 and an s14 but have no idea what the silvia is or the engines they came with, I also dont know about the different models like the SE. Thanks.

Ok I'm not trying to start a fight or an arguement here, but let me clear some things up.

I guess I'm in the 10% 'cuz I actually like Hondas~ they're good cheap reliable cars with plenty of parts at any j-yard. I really don't see why people have this Honda hate. Hating on posers is one thing, hating on their cars is another.

refer to the "opinion" point above.

so by this logic Suzuki Sidekicks are even more prized, right?

I beg to differ...

You're already doing what you're looking to do. Just keep reading in/around this site and you'll learn plenty.

With that said, if you want a beater~ pick the Honda. If you want a little more, pick the 240.

point taken. But Cape's post is a generalization of all Integras. Not the specific two that ariasoli is talking about. And Cape, I didn't post that to give you $hit~ I'm just clarifying things as I see it. Anybody else is welcome to come along and correct me.

i honestly would go with the 240 over the integra. i test drove an integra and i wasnt really impressed with it before i bought my 01 accord daily driver. the integra was a gs and didnt seem to have any power stock.
