I just recently bought a running 93 240 for $600 with a straight body and bad paint. I dont know much about the car and i have some questions like what is the RWHP on an automatic 240? I am also having some problems finding performance parts like headers and cold air intake. also is the sr20 really a better motor than the ka24? I have dealt with hondas since i can remember so i dont know very much about these engines. Anyway any help would be appreciated.

 

93 had 155 hp but thats not wheel hp... hmmm i have a 95 and its auto also with 155 hp once again... i d say about 140 rwhp... as far as the ka and the sr go... sr20 is turbo charged with about 200hp vs a NA ka with 155... 2.4 vs 2.0 L i like the sr tho but you could also turbo the ka24

id say.. if you want turbo.. drop one in the KA.. you'll pull on SR's.. or thats what i plan on doin to my friend's..

 

yea go sr20 it has 205 rwhp stock and also they come with 30,000 to 50,000 miles on them.... if i were you i would just save up for that motor and not spend money on the ka. but thats just what im saying, it is your car so do what you want.
