Yesterday night as I exited off the freeway going home from work... In my rearview, I seen a 350Z cutting off cars. So as cutted his ways to get infront of others, He stayed side by side then he spead up then slowed.. by then he was already 3 cars ahead of me.. Like he was toyin' with me! so im like What the hell?! I'll test nut'Z then!! So as I spead & caught up with him.. he speeds to 50 then I speed to stay up with him.. then all of a sudden.. 50-60-65..still going side by side.. BAAAAAMMMM!! he let loose as I see his car jumps, I react by downshifting into 3rd gear gainning up on him but by then end of 4th im side by side and we both had to stop..

I Honestly know 350Z are way faster then that correct? I don't know their stock times but my car is almost STOCK. All I have done to it is.. Intake, Brake & Drill Slotted Rotor, K' Spoiler, 5 Lug SE Conversion. Let me know!!

 

I messed around with a buddies 350 one day and I got him through first gear, but that's it. This was with my stock '96.

 

lol they SHOULD be faster but iunno. he might have just reacted to slowing down first before you did thats why you were side by side with him. but if your 240 can beat his then HELL YAH!!!!

 

He was just being nice to his fellow Nissan buddy ....

yea i raced a silver 350z about 2 weeks ago, i think those have an rb26, im not sure, but this guy seen me coming and as soon as we were next to each other, i took off fist but he smoked me, those are pretty fast, but hey thats why Nissan is the sh*t!

it's a different story though when you have a crappy driver vs a half decent driver that knows the road. If there's other cars on the road, speed advantage doesn't matter as much if there's nowhere to go. i've owned an M3 before driving a friggin' Ford Taurus, but the man just couldn't drive~ he was just always 2-3 car lengths behind me weaving in and out for like 10 minutes on a winding road trying to catch up.
