240sx in the Winter?

Anyone here drive a 240sx in the winter? I'm debating whether or not to take mine to college in the winter or just buy a beater 4x4 for the snow. If you drive it in the snow how does it handle? What things do you do to make it better for snow, like more weight in the trunk, snow tires, etc. Thanks.

hmmm. Put some chains on the tires or get a 4x4 ****-car to drive around. IMO i would get a truck or something.

Actually, my father is getting a new Titan soon. Drifting isn't a problem, just finding traction up hills and stuff would be trouble. I think i'll just try to find a beater for the winter.

I loved driving my 240 in the winter, most fun I've ever had. Got stuck on some of the smallest hills ever though and even ended up stuck in a golf course one time

i took mine out in the snow i didnt have no problems in my area or accidental problems i took every corner sideways lol so much fun it was so peaceful. but 4x4's are also fun to drive in snow last winter my friend had a suzuki samurai with a lift and big ol tires and we where whipein it around gettin sideways areound corners in that thing. i never imagined drifting in a big jeep until then, so go with whatever suits your area the best. i never tackled no hills in mine in snow so i dont know if that would be a prob. when i lived in alaska everyone just put chains on their tires so if you done that it would probly be better.

I had mine 3 years, Anchorage Alaska. No problems whatsoever, you will need studded tires (I had TA on mine, the best..) and take your car thru car wash every Friday (during winter time).......it will be OK, ....just be safe and careful on the highways.......

i havent read all the posts...in fact i only read the first one...and DUDE....are you a woman???

RWD in the winter is the BEST. its sooo much fun. i leave my car as is....even tho its low as **** i still drive everywhere. doing drifts around light posts and stuff in empty parking lots...its the funnest thing ever.

one time i got stuck tho...my car is extremely low. i am running just some regular all seasons on my factory 16s. if i had winter tires on the rear i probably wouldnt have gotten stuck.
