3Z or 3ZTT???
3Z or 3ZTT???
i kno this is a 240 forum and all but does anyone know how to tell the difference between an N/A 3Z and a TT 3Z. i've come across these more often lately and wanna kno how to tell by the exterior. i dont want one to try and kick it with me and when i do it goes *spool spool spool* *PSSSH* on me. just little stuff like differences in the 99-00 civic si and non-si. si: lip, wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes. non-si: no lip, hubbies, front disc brakes, rear drums. stuff like that to set the TT's from the N/A's. help me from gettin handled by TT's! thanks
Really can't tell. Very hard to. Usually sticker, but we know how that goes and all twin t's had a deck spoiler. But the rims were the same and all sooo kind of hard to tell just by looking. Well at least from what I know
The rear rims were wider on the TT - so you'll just have to sneak over with a tape measure or caliper and measure before the race.... but then again, you could swap the TT wheels onto an n/a car.
My friend actually has a set of TT wheels on his 240.

ok basicly america has 3 different kinds of 300ZX, (japan has 4). there are 2 body styles. coupe and 2+2 (2 seats in front, 2 in back). there are turbo and non turbo coupes, but in america, all 2+2's are non turbo. 2+2's can be identified by the gas cap behind the rear wheel well, coupes have it in front. i think there are a few other things, but thats one that stands out in my mind. so if you see one that has the gas cap behind the wheel well, its guaranteed to not be turbo, unless they swapped the engine (a guy here did that).
