get 550cc injectors, copper head gasket, forged pistons and rods, and slap a nice ballbearing turbo on it, oh and some cams if u go money left over. You'll be seeing 450hp.

You have 5 grand and you want 300 to 350 horse power................Take the 5 grand and use it as a down payment on a Corvette! ..............Just joking! If you already have the SR20 put in with 5 grand worth of modifications you should be able to pump out more then 350 Hp if you spend you money wisely and do the right modifications. I think you should be able to get into the 400's

The disco potato is a turbo made by Garrett. It is a ball bearing turbo, GT28RS. It was tested on SR20DET by Sport Compcat Magazine, it directly bolts on. It is said that it spools like carzy and it is capable of 300~350 WHP. You can find more info on:

lucky you. you have the 5 grand that I need but don't have.

It's not all about numbers.
First id get Tein HE$1300
some good 16 or 17s $1200
LSD $1200
Aluminum driveshaft $600(I think)
New Exedy clutch/Flywheel
(If you can afford it with whats left)

You will only get a little more power to the ground from the driveshaft/flywheel being lighter, but better(lighter, wider, stiffer)rims and the lsd will give you shorter 1/4 times also it will rev up faster. The HE's will make the car more stable for drifting

Umm...a guy out here in Cali got killed by some thugs just because they wanted his 22" spinners.

F*** that. Get some wheels that won't bring you to an untimely end.

I even saw the vehicle that belonged to the poor guy driving around my town a few hours before the cops came and busted the thugs. Creeped me out when I found out about it.

If you are planing on drifting it is not imperitive to have a ton of power, so i would spend most of it on better suspension components and of course some on that sr factory in the engine bay.
