go there with $2000 cash. show him $1800 and offer that price to him directly. the other $200 give to your buddy or something. he may bite at the $1800, then tell him that's all you got if he says no, and you've saved your lunch money blah blah. if he refuses, "borrow" $200 from your buddy and you should pretty much get it.
that car isn't worth more than $2000 in my head, it's an auto.
oh yeah. save your pennies for the sr20, and drop the turd ka as soon as you have money for the swap and all the necessary parts you need for the swap.
