There are 1994 models. They may not have all been manufactured in 1994, but they are 1994 models. And there were only convertibles..

I believe, this is only a theory, that they actually stopped importing the cars in 1993. And, all of the cars that they had left over in the states (all convertibles, because no one wanted them) were sold as 1994 models. I may not be exact on why or when, but its just my idea.

That is correct, since they stopped production of the coupes and fastbacks in mid '93...

Being a new member, I'm curious as to why no one wanted the 1994 convertibles? Any theories?

Mainly because they are all auto's, they are pretty heavy due to all the extra bracing that is put in, and I'd imagine the chasis is nowhere near as stiff as other models.

technically they did make 240s in 94 that werent convertibles. the s14 was released near the end of 1994. it was called a 1995 but they always release cars alittle earlier.

Technically yes, but it wasn't marketed as a 1994 240sx, it was marketed as a 1995 240sx. My car came out in 1989, but its a 1990...who cares, its been like that as long as I can remember, you'll be able to buy '07 cars soon...
