96 240 convertion question

Im looking at buying a '96 240sx. I was wondering how easy or hard a convertion to a silvia front end.

I know the 95 - 98 model front ends are similar but the silivia looks a bit sleeker with the headlights.

from what i have seen the 95-96 s14 front ends are the same as jdm as are the 97-98. there is a difference between 95-96 (zenki) and 97-98 (kouki) though. maybe that is what you are looking at? as for a conversion from what I hear it is pretty easy, just change you lights, front bumber, fenders, and hood and you should be good. Ohter wise do a search there is a lot of information in these forums.

^ he's right. if you're looking to do the kouki conversion. the whole front is interchangeable. you'll need everything though to make it look right/clean. lights, bumper, fenders and hood. direct bolt on. you could check junk yards (going to be VERY hard to find though), for sale section, locals, or the dealer if worse comes to worse.

yup... exactly, the only thing different between the 95-96 zenki and 97-98 kouki, are the headlights, should be a direct bolt-on

yea...."sleek" headlights are not "JDM silvia" and the rounder lites are not "USDM 240sx"...they are just a "facelift" a new body style on both the 240 and silvia starting in 97...the actual really noticable difference between the S14 silvias and S14 240s are the bumpers...
