anyone can help me i replace a new 95 240sx motor into my 96 240 cause my 96 is not working really well i just wondering will it Pass smog check does it have to deal with a OBD 11 or not?? the 95 motor is an obd 11 so it should be fine anyone help me out asap thanks..

 

Should be a straight swap if the '95 is OBDII. If you hook everything up correctly it should pass smog/emissions/ all that crap.

 

i think 95's are obd1. 96's are obd2.

 

^^ really i thought they were both obd2, idk though loL!

 

Early 1995's are OBDI, late model '95's are OBDII

 

my 95 240sx i check it, it have two o2 sensor one in the front and one at the back by the catalic converter. IS that obd 11 some 95 are obd 11 anyone hlep me out..

 

The probelm that my car didn't pass smog because it have check engine light on the two code said is evap purge control p0443 and the other ones is Fuel & air meterius.. anyone can help me
