99 Silvia.. i JUST had to share....

Sooooooo..

My sister just moved back from Japan this past thursday after living there for almost 5 years and she was driving a 99 Silvia (BUT it was AUTO)... But still, it was a JDM silvia, turbo and all.. anyhoo, the thing i wanted to share was that she sold the thing for ONLY $1200. DAMN... i have mixed emotions about this, but i do understand how vehicles in general have a really high turn over rate and REALLY bad resale value in Japan .. I WISH I COULD BUY A 99 SILVIA HERE FOR THAT PRICE!!!!

Dont know where I'm really going with this thread, but just wanted to share.

LOL, the thing that REALLY bugs me is that she moves BACK NOW AFTER i buy my 240. and i wanted some stuff for my car and she could have gotten it for dirt cheap and mailed it back.. LIKE GEEEEEEEEEEEEZ.. she's sooooo inconsiderate.. couldnt she JUST wait a few more months or YEARS until AFTER i got all the parts i wanted.. LOL..

NOW, let the flamming begin.. ha ha.

i highly doubt that, she probably missed a zero. the base price for a new s15 like that was probably around $26000. unless there was something considerably wrong with the car i find that hard to believe.

lol yea...i just thought about this and realized thats a freaking S15...the cheapest ive seen for a spec. R S15 would be around 800,000 yen which is about $7,500...and they are usually up there with the R32 GTRs at around 1,000,000 yen...(btw ive lived in japan for a few years)

Nope, she bought it for 16000 two or three years ago.. and only got 1200 for it. the only thing wrong with it was it was AUTOMATIC!!! LOL.... well i think.. she's not into cars and she didnt realize what car she bought until she told me.. she just wanted something that would run and get her from point a to b. she said everything was fine. she has pictures and nothing seemed wrong.
