Unhappy adhesive remover?

i just finished stripping all of my sound deadening, but have a fair amount of tar-residue left on the panels- i was wondering the best adhesive remover/solvent/acid to remove the tar residue. i was using goo-gone, but after almost passing out twice, and 3 migraine-headaches, i'm done!- this is pissing me off cuz i just want it done, so first prize gets a Club Red sticker.

goo gone works great. maybe use a fan?

i usally let it sit for 15 minutes and then scrape it off.

if not, a wire wheel attached to a drill (available anywhere for $2-4) works great as well.

hey,
i install vinyl graphics for a living. i also have to remove them.
you can use some laquer thinner but make sure you wear rubber gloves that are solvent resistant and make sure to have lots of ventilation

i have a some " professional " stuff called adheze off. its a solvent based product but wont harm paint. its not to expensive. a 1 quart bottle is like $25 but its works great. i can ship some to you if you are interested.
