After 2 years of looking... I got my 240!!!!!

So last week a 240 turned up on craigslist and looked great. I emailed the guy countless times and waited 3 LONG LONG days for a reply. Last night he gave us a list of all the things wrong with the car. Dents, ripped seat, 70k on tires, loud exhaust, bad suspension, windshield wiper switch broken. Well I just got back from seeing it and let me tell you it was one of the cleanest 240's I've ever seen. It can be seen at http://wellsrundry.blogspot.com/ So now I have to wait till saturday for pick up because the seller is smogging it for us and thats when his appointment is. What do you guys think?? There wasnt even a rip in the seat!! Dash is perfect! Runs great. I just need to know what the best tires for it are and how I can fix the wipers. He said intermittment doesnt work but in general the wipers work. I'm so excited!!!

OMG it feels so good. I'm just mad I don't get it till saturday. It's good he's smogging it for me. I just can't wait!! I don't even know how to drive stick though. Tried learning on my dads 03 G35 coupe but it's a tough clutch and tranny. The 240 has a new light clutch and my dad said it drives very easily. Ahhhh saturday is so far away!!!!!!

congrats man!
Can't wait for some pics.

Stick isn't that hard to learn. Only thing is, with the 240, you gotta give it some gas before you start to let the clutch out, where-as in a truck, you can let the clutch out then gas.
Basically, it encourages a heavy foot.

I'm 17. I go in for my drive test next wednesday after having my permit a little over 10 months. The car won't roll when you semi-engage?? That's how I was learning with the G.. Of course it has a very stiff clutch and sensitive gas pedal. I NEED tires as soon as I get it so what are the best ones for the stock steelies???

Clear title, one owner. No rust because it's been in Nor Cal its whole life. Always been in the bay area. The CARFAX on it only had reports of it always passing smog. Never failed it. I've heard falken twice now so I'll look into it. Can I get specifics? I'm new to having my own car and want to go in with exactly what I want and need written down. Also I will be looking into good affordable suspension soon since it's all original. I was thinkin KYB and S Techs... I need specifics tho!
