Lightbulb Aftermarket Seat Q's

I was unsure where to post this exactly so I figured why not here. Basically ive been looking for an aftermarket seat for a little while now and Im having a tough time finding a seat that will freakin' fit me. I know not all of you can be 5'5" 120lb drivers . Im a bigger guy 6' 220lbs. Ive sat in a few of my friends 240's (s13's) with aftermarket seats and frankly none of them are all that comfortable (lets just say NOT even getting in the seat for an example). Now I know you get what you pay for (especially when it comes to safety) so i was looking particularly at Sparco, Bride, or Status seats. I plan on using Bride rails since to the best of my knowledge they sit rather low. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience finding seats for us bigger drivers.

*Also i know websites list the dimensions of the seats blah blah, Im looking more for people who actually have the seats and how they feel.

Any input or advice would be great

Bucket seats will make a hell of a difference from stock seats. S13 seats suck in the holding department, pretty much anything would be better. Bucket seats are non-reclinable and hold better than reclining seats, but some people do not like buckets if the car is their daily driver.

well i dont have a problem with my head hitting the roof of it but my legs are long, ive got the seat all the way back and if i move my foot to heel toe my knee kind of brushes against the steering wheel. if i got a bucket seats would that help me or only someone with a taller torso.

Ah thanks, i didnt even think about recaro's. And bucket seats make a HECK of a difference. Like i said ive managed to squeeze into some (uncomfortably), and stuck like glue. It made me feel much better whipping the car side to side (both Autocross and some sliding).

Bucket seats are mostly sidemount, which allow you to mount the seat pretty damn low and you can mount them at a slight angle. Should be fine for you 1993, a smaller steering wheel will help from your knees hitting, when looking for one make sure it is smaller and not the same size as stock.
