I plan to rebulid my KA so it can push 200hp at the crank and a turbo might be possible. But right now I am broke and saving up to work on other things, such as suspension and exterior.

Estimating 300bhp on 3 cylinders...On A Lot of boost...Ive got a broken coil pack wire (spark plug wire), so its only running on 3 right now, till later. Im aiming for about 350-400 RWHP, T67, 720cc inj, Pistons, Headgasket, Rings, manifold, wastegate over the summer, so thats the aim for next year.

Aloha,
Yes ballbaring is "better" in a sense. It spools FAR faster than a normal turbo even of the same size.

I dont know about that Chiba. It extends the life of the turbo, and it allows the wheel to spin 'easier', not necessarily faster. A turbo will sometimes spool quicker with the ball bearing, but that is because it spins easier.
Ball bearing is a good option for a daily driver.

Id take a gander at you pushing 21-25psi, and pushing up to 340rwhp. I think you would need injectors and fuel pump, and headgasket, getting into piston territory also, but for some reason you want us to guess without listing your mods, thats kind of hard.
