In all seriousness, touch your ***** alot
Hey all,
I found a hard spot on my right ******** like 2 weeks ago, went right to the doctors. A week later, I got an ultrasound, bloodwork, and a CT scan.
It turns out I managed to get sucker-punched by testicular cancer. Last Saturday I had an orchiectomy....this is where the remove your ******** through an incision in the groin....I am already recovered and doing well.
Unfortunately, the next step from here is a major surgery. In 2 weeks, I will be having some lymph nodes removed, that are situated back near the kidneys. To do this, they have to cut from my sternum all the way down to below they belly button, then cut through the stomach muscles, then lift up the intestines, stomach etc, and then work their way back to take out the lymph nodes. This surgery takes about 4 hours.
I will then have to stay at the hospital for a week, including 4 days of no food or water, a catheter, a tube down my nose into my stomach, etc.
Then I will have a week of chemo, then 2 weeks off, then another week of chemo.
The good news is that the survival rate of this cancer at this stage is like >95%. Also, the good news is that I am not too worried.
The bad news is that this **** is just a nuisance......I am working towards a PhD. and don't need to be in a hospital right now. Also, I won't be allowed to drive my car for like a month or so (THIS IS THE WORST!!!!)
Some bad news for my tuner status.....I ordered rear pillowball upper mounts, toe rods, and traction rods, and all are ready to be installed, but it looks like I am out of the game for a few weeks or more.
All males on this forum.....DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND CHECK YOUR NUTS FOR HARD SPOTS OR LUMPS.
I am lucky and caught mine early. I noticed that half of my right nut felt hard all of a sudden....went right to the doctor.
Don't let natural selection sneak up on you and make you not be able to install parts and tune your 240 hard as hell.
THE END

wow.. thats crazy, like tom green got cancer and made a song about it and then a kid heard the song, touched his ***** and went to the doctors and found he had testicular cancer, too. I never thought about it that much. Anyway the pillowball mounts and rods will give you something to look forward to... good luck and stay healthy.
