^^^ more than likely it's a fart-can with some crappy tubing that someone had welded together. If it was a catback, it must be REALLY crappy with the slag-welded/rusty hangers.

Is there any kind of plate welded onto the bottom of the canister with a brand name welded onto it? Anyways, an exhaust is an exhaust. Be it 700 dollars or 200 dollars, they're all the same, as long as its 2.5-3 inch piping and mandrel bent. I'm not saying its gonna last, but a pipe is a pipe.

the only problem i see with getting a cheap no name set up it fitment issues. but from what i've heard some headers from quality manufactures have that problem too though.

materials and welds look about the same on the cheap and not so cheap exhausts so why pay more.

Fitment is a good point, but I can say from experience that ebay fitment hasnt been a problem for me.

Ebay a PIT exhaust, I got mine and I LOVE it. Under the SAE sound test I am at best 91db with the silencer. Not to mention my gas mileage for some odd reason is better... So far, Ive gone 187 miles and the needle has not dropped below 3/4 mark. My car is scaring me again...

But to answer your question, that is a Mr. Wan (Mr. Taiwan) exhaust... at best, the person who bought it only spent about 150 for it.

187 miles for 4 gallons of gas??? I get about that with 15 gallons haha. Your sender in the tank must be off.

Theres no way to tell what exhaust you have.. The N1 dual on my car is 4 yrs old.. The car is an NJ car with harsh winters, and DD year round. $500 for 4 yrs, and more left.. or $200 for half that time before you have issues? Why spend double on an exhaust? The same reason why I payed $1000 for a exedy hyper single over $300 for ebay clutch and flywheel. Build your car with ebay specials and see what happens in a not-so-long time.
