Yes, it only works with the JDM rear glass that was made for the wiper because the defroster circuit is run a different way. If you were to get just the rear wiper assembly and cut a hole into your stock glass, you'll kill your defroster circuit.

 

can you elaborate on this some more? I'm just curious, the defroster lines are on the inside of the glass, right? Why would a wiper going across the outside of the glass kill it? Static electricity...? or something else...

it's not the wiper itself that will kill it. Look at a car with a rear wiper - where the motor assembly is (and the hole where the wiper shaft comes through the glass) the defroster circuit is offset. If you did it with a USDN rear glass, you'd end up cutting through one of those circuits and render the defroster inoperable

Wow, there was quite a bit of response to this, more than I expected. So far, I have a few people that want rear quarter glass and and taillights for the S13. These should be easy enough to get a price. I'll just head to the junk yard and find generic prices and try to work my way down the list.

As far as a legitmacy and how I got here. I'm in the USAF and I got to Okinawa in May. I'll be here for three years, possibly more. To keep things legitimate, I am going to handle things through paypal so that if anybody has problems, they can file a claim through paypal. I will also get receipts for the parts and send them with the shipment.

There was somebody requesting test pipes and what not. These are swiped up quite quickly at the junkyards, but they can be found used at Ups Garage (a used parts store). I can get new testpipes and other stuff new. I paid about $70 for my cat delete, $150 for my DP, and $300 for my exhaust.

Like I said, I will search junkyards this weekend and the next and let everybody know what's going. Also, if anybody were to send me money to pick something up, I will give them my squadron and supervisor's name and e-mail address. I'll do this to insure that you will receive what you requested.

 

The kouki tails will be easier to order online. I haven't seen these used anywhere around here, except on a running car.

 

The actual parts shouldn't be too expensive, but I am worried about shipping. I'll let you know if I find a S-14. There aren't too many in the junkyards around here.
