i just like the way it looks, strait out looks to boring, and im also not tryna have nawwwwwwws or any mAd JdM Yo or big wings. I just want my car to like like how i want it, but i guess wanting your muffler at a certain angle is now ricy too,w/e.

I dont think its in any way "ricy" since most of the exhaust for the 240's are angled that way

Yea I know, thanks for backing me up on this I just bought a N1 style muffler off of eBay and want it to look like an N1 because i have other things i want to spend my money on for my car, and im only 15 turning 16 in two months. You guys should be lucky im not one of those kids my age that claims he has a 5 second chevelle or thinking im getting a supra or skyline from my dad.No i dont like big wings barley like anybody kits.Everyone my age i know that likes improrts want to put a big wing on altezzas and think axel back exhaust add 100 hp, I mean come on there is this kid down the street from me he is 16 and he has a axel back exhaust on his 89 prelude Si and now thinks he puts 225 HP to the wheels and thinks he will blow the doors off me so bad, he also thinks his subs are going to add HP and make his car faster i don`t know where he is getting this from but whatever. And im not looking into be a hardcore street racer but i mean if its very late at nite and noone is around, i mean noone and some guy in a civic is saying stuff sure w/e ill go for it. What i am looking for is to auto x, drift and road race when i am older.

I know if any of you have looked at my pictures of me and my car i look like some big "wigger" but I am not i have goals, i want to be a mechanic when i am older and mod cars for a hobby, i love working on cars.Truth is im not a bad kid i get a 3.0 and stay out of trouble and just want to have a kick a*s ride that i like driving and that i can make faster (Junior year ca18det front clip engine swap)but yea jus wanted to tell you guys about myself.

P.S. What is stock exhaust piping size, and what size piping should i get for mid to high end performance.

Thanks,

Ryan

i believe the stock piping is around 2 inches, and for good performance (im assuming ur not turbocharged), i would suggest 60-65mm piping which is around 2.5 inches

well basically here is my opinion...

you look at the ricers of the world and majority of them are "gangstazzzzz" wiggers wearing clothes 5 sizes what they need to be etc etc call them whatever you want, ghetto or what not... so basically iam going to stereotype you as an ignorant ricer as well, simply because of that...to be physical impressions do have a meaning...it shows you care to be presentable in public... go ahead and flame me i really dont give.... and as for having your profession as a mechanic you better thnk about that twice...

example you sit there working on peoples cars...eventually you will get tired of working on them... in the end you will only want to work on your car... i suggest you start like an apprentice somewehere or something...

yea i work at a body shop 20HRS a week is that good?and yea im aware of the mechanic life style and what it is like.i dont where clothes 5 times to big my pants fit around my waist my shirts come on thier not that big i just wear shirts that are long enough so if i lift up my arms it doesnt show my sotmach or boxers, and if thats the description of a ricer to you what happend to the car part of being a ricer.I mean come on where did i go wrong, just because im young it doesnt make me a ricer, i dont think my car is fater then the majority of cars on the market today im aware that it can pull maybe 16 on the 1/4 mile maybe high 15`s , so what am i doing so wrong. I just don`t get people these days, there are wanna be gangsters at my school they like 24's and SUV`s does that make them a ricer?

dood man, i think that people are just annoyed witht he younger drivers because MAJORITY of them are dumbasses and tend to do stupid things... so we tend to think alot of the other younguns will do the same... its all apart of human nature man, its life get used to it... basically theres alot of 16yr olds with 240's here, pulling the ebrake on the busy streets claiming they are drifting... after seeing this alot can you blame me??

Sorry to butt in to your guys off-topic dispute but, The bolt on aftermarket exauhst systems are sometimes angled to provide minimal bends in the piping and allow better flow. Just thought i would throw that in because i was bored.

this is getting pretty interesting...

i myself am barely 17, i make stereotypical remarks about certain cars, drivers, what is or what isnt rice...etc etc...

however, i get mad as well when someone looks at me as a 17 year old kid who does nothing but drive fast with a stock car...it makes me mad and since then ive beaten two other guys who have said somethin i didnt like...all i think is that if you can back up your car or your demeanor by beatin the other guy on the track, then its all well and good, but its really the people that drive around like theyre the ****, but when it comes down to it they dont have ****...for clarification, i dont drive around like im the ****, i drive around like im a 17 year old who is lucky enough to have a very nice car which i dont want to detroy by doing something stupid...
