base, LE, SE?
This is a strange question, but whenever i'm online looking for parts, the 240 is always either a base or an SE. My car is an LE, and i dont really seem to see any difference other than the interior? I was just wondering why i seem to own the only LE i've ever heard of?....
lol, well LEs are probably the rarest 240s out there. There isnt much of a differnece between LE, base(or XE)and SE. Interior, some options are the biggest differnece. and the SE had a "sportier" suspension.
any reason you know of as to why they are so rare? And i dont know if there is, but is there a company who sells new stickers for the rear? my left side of the hatch is rusted threw (damn spoiler) and my LE is all brown, so if its rare, why not keep the 30 cent sticker that makes it rare? i know its weird, but its kinda neat.
LE came with Leather seats. Base had most of the options, like power everything and sunroof. SE had ABS options and Different wheels.
As for the "best" model...they are all good. 90 the SOHC engine, about 10hp less then the 91 up engines(DOHC). the "best" i guess would be the 91-93 240sx SUPER HICAS SE version, came with the option for VLSD and came fully equipt. But those are pretty god damn hard to find, even harder then a LE.
