Best tierod ends
Best tierod ends
I took my s14 to get it aligned yesterday and the guys at the shop wouldnt even touch it because of the aggressive angle that my inner tie rod was at. The damn thing looked like it was doing a "V" from my steering rack. I was wondering what is the best tierod end that comes with spacers to fix bump steer . I was looking at circuit sports since I have all there suspension components already, but I wasnt sure if they came with spacers. Ohh yeah for you who dont know why its doing a "V", its because when you lower your car on any car it will change the angle of the inner tierod and create bump steer.
I have tein. The only thing I didnt like is that they dont have Zirc fittings on them so I ended up drilling them out and putting some in.
Tein comes with a spacer and they are pretty good stuff.

I use Moog, but mainly an OEM replacement. You'll need a greese gun to pack the ball joint (Outer Tie Rod end comes with zirc fitting). If you got an agressively lowered car, go with SPL + I haven't seen a SPL heim joint pop out.
Peep Zilvia, got a few forum members on there who've had Circuit Sports and Wicked tuning Tie Rod ends pop out on them while driving... O Crap Mode.
Might wanna check out this forum in NorCal - mestiso.net or something like that. One of the members did a DIY of SPL install and you can see how well it corrects the tie rod angle.

i am not too low, so i bought the tein's & am very pleased with them. however my friend's s13 is basically on the ground & he had to get the spl's for the bumpsteer adjustability. he did say that the feedback on the steering wheel is much better on the track & on smooth roads. however on ****ty roads he complains about feeling every bump & crack in the road transmit to the steering wheel.
