Talking ? on brake light in dash (didn't know where to post it)

I'm new to the forum so i have no clue where to post this ?. Can somebody tell me how to fix the prob with the brake light staying on in the dash . I put my e brake down and the brake light stays on. I test drove one before that had the same prob i have no clue why it would be staying on. Any info would help other than just takin the bulb out so it won't be lit up.

DUDE CHECK YOUR BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER FLUID LEVEL.

That light is there for that as well as the parking brake!

Np. I am sorry about the caps but I just don't want you driving around with no fluid.

Plus if it gets too low you will have to bleed the system.

nope, it's full it's either something to do with the ebrake itself. I don't think it's cause there is a brake light out.

Slide off the rubber cover to the ebrake and check the little spring on the sensor. It might be jammed up or broken.
