burnout question.

burnout question.

okay, this is probably a dumb question, but oh well..

Does it do anything to the rear brakes when you're doing a standstill burnout by applying the brakes, and gas at the same time? hope that makes since...

Yes, it'll eat away at your rear pads a little bit. I wouldn't be too concerned with it. I did a bunch of burnouts last year like that. If you don't want that happening you'll have to get a line-lock so it locks up the front brakes only.

or you could be cool like me and your rear brake calipers are locked up.....lol.....i need to get those fixed my stoping isnt to good right now.

locked up, like they're constantly touching? haha.. that's lame.. I'm just trying to get a good picture of the smoke, i'm not trying to do it all the time..

I did this one yesterday, but it's not too great of a picture.

why you say that, it's LSD. there were two nice marks on the pavment, it was just really windy.

91+ has LSD (Limited Slip Differential) if it is an SE...I believe.. just search, there's a few threads about it.

if your 240 has Super Hicas chances are it has an LSD

As he stated, unless you have Super Hicas you really don't have LSD. Only SE models with super hicas have it. Every now and then a car w/o lsd will lay down 2 tracks...Even when mine used to, one of the tracks was not as long. Nice burnout though.
