Smile Buying A 240sx!!

I'm thinking about buying a 95 240sx for $10,000 Is that a good price?? 133,000 kms pretty mint too.. lowered, cusco sway bar.. clean. Also, has Blitz rims.. heres what my car look's like..

Also has a HKS Hyper catback exhaust and cold air intake system..

cdn dollars.. 2 grand no air, no engine, no doors... sounds more like 2 grand.. yeah cars here don't depreciate much... resell value is awesome.

thats roughly what, 6600 american?
I'd shoot for 9K, depending on the shape of the engine and body. If it has rust or anything else wrong, needs clutch replaced, etc, then i'd subtract from there. I'd say 9K canadian is about right, i'd even argue for 8500.

I don't know about the rest of yall but, that seems a little high. I found my '96 with 118k on her and talked the dealer down to $4500 (Ive heard from a lot of people that even that was high). Exhaust, intake, springs, and strut bar will add a $1000 or so if they are practically new which im sure they arent anymore.

Thats what I was saying, but from what I've seen buying a 240sx in Canada you are going to pay a little more than here. I agree with you and hyjnx, talk her down a grand.

what about a '95 with 99k miles? listed on auto trader for $5695 or so, its an auto as well. but its privately owned. talk it down to $5k or so? $4k?

yeah its true cars here are worth alot more than cars down there.... because there alot harder to find and alot better.
