Ok guys, here's the situation.

I'm working through several problems on my new to me 89 240. The problem is that the A/C is not working (compressor not turning on) and the vent motor (switching between foot and bi-level for example) does not move. The blower and blower switch operate as they should however, including the Recirc button.

I've checked all the fuses and they seem to be all good.

When you push in the A/C button it lights up but the compressor fails to switch on. When you select different levels for the vent system the motor does not operate or even attempt to. Vents can be moved manually by hand.

I'm thinking there may be a common point that is failing and causing both to not work.

I've been trying to track something down using the wiring diagram however I think I fried my brain and it's all running together now...

Any suggestions?
