Exclamation Calibrating tachs


HELP!!!! ... i installed new indiglow gauges and i took out the needles .... now the fuel gauge won't move.... the speedometer and rpm are very incaccurate and so is the oild temp gauge.....PLZ help...what should I do?

why in god's name did you TAKE OFF the needles? This may really need to be looked at by a dealer. OR you could try to find guage cluster from a junkyard, and put the indiglos on right.

What gauge cluster do you need? I have one for pickup only in NYC.

Getting a new cluster will save you the headache of having to explain the situation and will give you a clean slate to install the gauges on.

i thought you were s'posed to remove the needles to "install" the white faces? you're posed to mark the position of the needles

with the fuel gauge dude.... do this.. wait till the fuel light goes on...then adjust it.... go to a parking lot and do circles... wait till the light comes on then adjust it man... thats what i did...

If I'm not mistaken you don't have to take the needles off in a imported car, only on domestics. My instructions said jus tto bend the needle back and then insert the gauges over it. THey said not to take off the needle unless it was domestic. But guess its too late for that

that is very true... mine got messed up when we were doing it... one of the needles broke ! .. the needle on the rpm gaugue broke...
