well i finaly found wat the problem to my car was... a bad injector at cylinder #3.. so i went out to buy anouther one. got home and tried to remove the to blotz wit the philipz head to get the old injector out.. but they were on so tight that they stripped now i dnt know how to take off the bolt to get to the injector!!

so anybody got any idea on how to get those to suckerz out ?? please help

Vise Grips .

 

yeaup vise grips will due they fit on the head

also a tip for anyone else reading

leave the fuel rail bolted in, take a large philllips and place it inside of the screw head.. take a hammer and tap while you twist counter clockwise.. i have been doing it for years.

also if you have trouble getting the injector out just leave the rail in again and take a very small pry bar and pry against the injector clip and fuel rail, they will pop right out. if you try to pry push and pull on the fuel rail out side of the car you will bend it.. i have already dont it before years ago.

 

i wondered how the hell you actually get the inector out of the rail lol

 

i mean if you need them thats way to go.. but if you just want them out you can take a phillips and poke them out but that will damge the nozzel and you may stab your self in the stomach.

wait, you cant get the injectors themselves out, or the metal injector cap thingy?i kinda destroyed the screws themselves, so i just used a chisel, and a hammer and started twisting em out, then replaced with new screws.

 

i guess the moral of the story is if the injectors dead an you want to stab it out with a screwdriver , point it away from yourslef lol

 

i've always said that you haven't begun to work on your car until you start bleeding. seems i can't do anything to my car without cutting myself.

 

well you dont have to stab them out thats just the mideval way of doing it lol.. the pry method works flawlessly and doesnt damage the orings etc.

 

i finally invested in some of those mechanic gloves to cut down on the cuts and knuckle scrapes

 

gloves are for girls.

 

Say what you want , but I haven't cut my hands in 2 weeks lol

 

my hands, wrists and forearms and elbows= cut, scraped and bruised. woot
