The car...you could have owned?

I dont know if this is a good place for it off topic? or not but its car related. Just curious what kinda car you all could have had at one point the top best 3 only if its not top 3 then its not worth it. I will start us out here,
color and car year and the blow out price you could have had it for.

Also if you have owned any killer rides write it up here just for fun guys

In the end i have a 240 but im happy with her.

1) 1967 mustang:
selling for 2000CDN because the kid was going back to school
http://www.mulvanemarauders.com/phot...pewmustang.jpg

there is a pic of exactly what it looked like. to bad i was 10 and my parents didnt want to by that dream car. still want it... =(

2) 1992 porsche 911 carerra 4:
selling for 7000CDN because he "upgraded to a new one"
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/deltaphi/ima...os/porsche.jpg

it was mint and low KMS but still i was only 12 and parents were like laughing at me and saying no. and again almost same picture.

3) 1989 nissan 240sx:
i know its not original but it was another dream car i wanted it, it was at my finger tips but i lost it to some guy who probly trashed it. i was 13 and my mom's b/f had it but sold it because he was going to school. that thing was the best 240 inside and out i had ever seen, better than mine even though it was bone stock no rust no leaks no seat rips. it would have been mine but he needed the dough. sad he let her go for 6000CDN cause it was worth tons more...

i hope to hear from you all your stories, mines a bit bland sorry i didnt upload the pics for easy viewing.

Don't know if this is what kind of response you are looking for but I found a 91 300zx twin turbo for $9,000. Only had 60,000 actual miles. At the time I had been looking for pretty much that exact car. I talked to the guy many times on the phone. He said there were no problems at all with the car. Sounded to good to be true and it was. I drove 3 hours to Chicago with a check to find out one of the turbos was junk and there was a a giant puddle of oil underneath the car. you could actually see it leaking out. Not really a deal that got away from me but thats all i got lol.

cars we could of had but didnt for some reason?

1. 93 FD RX-7 - free
2. 93 240SX coupe - free
3. 89 Silvia Q's - $300
4. AE86 coupe GTS- $1500

the FD and 240SX both belonged to relatives who totalled them. the Silvia belonged to a (female) friend in japan who said she would just give it to me when i got older (i was around 13) but one year it was just gone and she was driving a K-car, never asked about it. The 86 was in the most immaculate condition, it was a black GT-S with black leather interior, driven by a old white lady in her 60s, beautiful car, only had 100,000 miles, didnt have $1500 or money for insurance.

This past weekend I met a guy who had a R32 gts-t for sale locally. Said He'd take my s14 and a few thousand. Car was registered and legal, but he sold it the day before our deal for 19,000.

Now I'm looking into getting a 92 coupe w/ rb20 and r32 brakes/calipers.

this will NOT pass me by.

R32 gts-t = my (possible) dream car

speaking of which i almost bought one in japan for 90,000 yen (about $830) but i figured it wasnt practical as i am only there a month or 2 a year. (owning a car in japan isnt too pratical anyways)

hey... hel~ ... i have a car in ny ... love it in ny ~~~

cars i could've have but lost?

well a 1989 933 turbo BONE STOCK WITH ONLY 45350 EXACT miles on it. NEW tranny cause original owner wasn't a very good driver.

could've gotten for free. my dad received it from his friend... no dents no dings... all garage kept for 16 years. leather interior was all new... still had an old new kinda car smell.

why i didn't get it ? cause right before about a week before he was about to hand it to me ... i trashed his landcruiser~ not a good thing...

with stock boost and all... it was trucking to everything, super fast. loved the low end torque of the small turbo~~ it was gray/blue... still remember... all other cars i could've had... was stupid daily's which i dont' care much about

240sx: Long before the drifining bandwagon caught on, I wanted one....got a 91, but I really wanted an S14....so I guess that didnt work.

Late 90s Maxima: Well I own it now, however its missing one thing...NOT A 5 Speed!

1990-96 TT 300zx- ALMOST had one before i bought my Maxima....with 100K in imaculate condition, leather, 5 speed, EVERYTHING. But just a TAD above my price range (It was 9500) I was looking for something around 7....ended up paying 6

There is exotics....but there is just to many to list...but theres one i have to add...1954 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing.....*DREAMING*

Car's I could have had....
1: 1999 Camaro SS SLP packaged with around 40k on the clock $15000

2: 1991 Corvette ZR1 for $15000 from an uncle

3: 1988 Porshe 951 (944 Turbo) with 200 miles on new built motor $6000

But I'm happy with the cars I have had

Cars I've owned
1st car: 1995 Beretta Z26

2nd car: 1995 Camaro Z28 -- ported TB and manifold, Hooker long tube headers, Hooker cat-back, Lingenfelter cold air intake, ported heads, cam, 3.73 gears

3rd car: 1995 Nissan 240sx -- sr20det swap and blew up -- looking for 470rwhp in spring of 07 when I get done with basic and AIT school. Going .020 over, JE forged pistons, Eagle h-beam connecting rods, HKS step 2 cams, greddy oil pan, tanabe coil overs, custom 3.5" turbo back, megan tubular header, greddy intake manifold, and Garrett GT32 turbo, and ported heads

Here is a video of what the HIGH QUALITY motor I was sold ended up doing a mile down the road
http://media.putfile.com/msl-quality

soon to be 4th car: 1999 Trans Am WS6 6-speed for the daily driver

Well lets see...

1) 1987 Chevy El Camino I loved this car. It was the baja edition that had the "body kit" on it and it was dark blue and light blue. If the guy would have went down $200 I would be driving the El Camino right now.

2) 1992 300zx 2+2 The asking price was far too high for me. 200k and the interior had a couple rips in it and there was some rust on the body and they still wanted $4300

3)1988 RX7 GLS? It was the non-turbo one.

1) 90-96 TT 300XZ like everyone else seems to have had almost gotten. However, it was with around 15k ORIGINAL MILES!! Clean as hell and everything. First owner as well as family friend.
14k or so.....he wanted a Vette but wasn't ready to get it so didn't sell the ZX even though he doesn't freaking drive it.

2) Mbenz 190e 16 valve. Limited amount were ever imported into the states (one with cosworth engine). Free...but **** came up.

3) Just a FD in general, but **** came up and ended up getting another car.
