Dont mean to hijack your thread but carfax didnt work for me one time....My mom crashed her SUV and the insurence company took it to a bodyshop. They did a crappy job so we sent it to another. Well it seems that the first bodyshop didnt report the accident and the second thought that the first one did. I checked carfax and the car came out clean....

 

well, in any case this guy hasn't car faxed me anything, hahah, werd..

fast1, i think there's something that if carfax doesn't report it, then they'll buy it. BUT, i think that's if it comes up at the DMV or whatever. so if the accident wasn't reported and logged in at the dmv, i guess nothing can happen.
