CARFAX and VIN discrepancies

CARFAX and VIN discrepancies
This is a re-directed response to a thread in the general discussions forum about how tos and installation. I posted there as well, but i think this will receive much more attention.
i have something urgent to ask, and im sure others can benefit from this as well. For the 4th group of digits, the Body Type, you only list 2 options, yet my VIN includes a 4 in its place, which isnt listed. At CARFAX, a 2 in its place is invalid, so i know the VIN hasnt been tampered with. So is there in fact more options for that 4th spot?
and aside from that, i also noticed that on CARFAX, it lists my car as an 1995 Nissan 240SX/SE. i dont have an SE, and i know this cuz i dont have ABS, cruise control, fog lights, or a spoiler. i dont know if that slash means 'or,' but i need a second opinion. my car is seriously mental. haha
