carsponsorships.com ???

I saw this in a myspace ad.

As anyone looked at or participated in www.carsponsorships.com I pulled the following from their webpage.

"Getting started is simple. Fill out our secure online application and within 24-48 hours you will be notified if you have been sponsored. Once you receive the approval notification, we will set up your account and notify you within 48-72 hours with contract information. From there you will be able to obtain your contracts, upload photos and order your sponsors products. Remember, if you don't get sponsored you don't pay. Find out today if you can be sponsored by top automotive companies."

It later says if they do find you a sponsorship, you only have to pay $89.99 (doesn't say if that is per sponsor)

Anyone got any dirt?

This is their ad.

I stupidly did this a while back. Waste of money, unless you are already well on your way to getting a sponsorship. If not, the most you'll get are free (lame) decals and discounts on audio equipment. I can almost guarantee you won't be sponsored by any companies that make aftermarket parts.

DON'T do it. They pretty much steal your money, and then make you work for them for free. You also have to buy there merchandise!!!!
I did it a year ago worst mistake of my life.
If you want to be sponsored the best way is to hit the track, or buy products from manufacturers and right them letters to let them know how dedicated you are with there product.
DC sports for an example is giving out sponsorships if you represent there products well.
Carsponsorships is ran by Falken and Bosch they just want to find a few good candidates out of a few thousand candidates that they can highlight for H.I.N. Your probabilioty is little to none.

Nope. They don't do anything. I let the year membership go by without buying jack. They've yet to contact me again.

yea, about that, do they charge you if you dont buy anything during the year. i can think of so much other shiite to buy with the 89clams. also, i recommend staying away from myspace. it only adds drama to peoples lives.
