Changing steering wheel

this might be stupid, but I cannot take out the stock steering wheel. I opened it up, took out the big nut in the middle of the steering wheel and all the screws I found there, but the steering wheel wouldn't come out. What else do I have to do?

Smack it, punch it, jiggle it, jerk it... should take you like 5 min. Just make sure you put that new hub on perfect as you do not want to do this more than once.

P.S. I had to do it 3 times. It'll make you very tired.
