I have a cheap *** OBX intake, well the piping anyways, the filter is the K&N filter charger, or whatever its called, that I got super cheap. Only cost me like $50 or something like that a year or so ago.

ooh i have another question, i'm sick of my 4x4 look and i want a drop. i just want a drop, im not taking my car to the track anything so i don't need coilovers or anything of that calibur. so i was wondering how do lowering springs hold up on stock strut and shocks? is it safe or should i invest in aftermarket ones too. anddddd i repeat, i'm never going to the track so i dont want coilovers, $$$

I bought it awhile ago off of some guy on IFX, he knew somebody that was an OBX dealer or something, dunno where to really look for one at this time. As far as lowering springs, I'd wait until I had enough for at least some AGX's, stock shocks won't last too long...

does your engine have a MAF?
if so... the best intake is the shortest intake.
the concept of a "cold air" intake is stupid unless you have a turbo
because the air going through the pipe is the SAME temperature as the air around it. NA engines work best with the shortest length from maf to intake manifold. honestly id say just to move your battery to the oposite side of your engine bay or to your trunk *whichever you prefer* and get some silver tubing from homedepot or a hardware store or even autozone and a few brackets so your maf is right on your throttle body and then after that is your filter

cold air intakes are actually quite useful on n/a vehicles, but you want to position the mafs so that there are atleast 6" of straight piping before and after the mafs to get a propper reading. cold air intakes are stupid on turbo applications, as soon as the air reaches the compressor housing it's very hot. if you want to cool the air that is what an intercooler is for
