Clutch question

Ok, so Im on my second 5spd 240, And both of em have had a really "dead" feel to the pedal, like I push down and its like pushing air lol, The clutch is brand new... It grabs fine, no slipping just wierd, I wonder if its for easier shifting, Same with the weighted shift ***. Lemme know lol, is anyone else's 240 like that?

It's probably because you have a stock clutch, which engages pretty smoothly. You also probably have the clutch dampener still installed, which helps with smooth engagement as well. Weighted ***** also help in making shifting smoother.
