Recently purchased my s13 and i noticed that my coolant over flow tank/container if u will isnt attached to anything inparticular, it just kinda sits on some hoses and other parts in the car on the left side close to the firewall im all too familiar with honda motors and i would know if it were wrong or not but is this where its suppose to be i dont think so. any info will help. thanks

 

left side do u mean driver side or passenger side the coolant container is not bolted down it slides into a slot underneath it on the passenger side

 

for my 91, they are screwed down with i think 2 bolts, it should be on the passenger side, slighty above the battery compartment
