Copying...Ugh..(Long Rant)

I just wanted to post this and see if anyone else has been in a similiar sitsuation. I bought my aspen white pearlglow 93 hb about 3 years ago and a very good friend of mine went out and got himself a red 91 hb. And my buddy when out and copied me mod for mod. I thought that was cool that we both had the same cars and what not but shortly after than i started getting pissed.

So i decide to put some stechs and agx's on my car. about 2 months after that, my buddy got the same springs and struts. After that he got the same exact component speakers as me, the exact same subwoofer. He then went out and bought the EXACT same wheels that i had for my car, same color and everything. I had a white valve cover on my car, he painted his valve cover white. The mounting brackets for my strut bars were gold when i bought them, and he has painted the ones on his car gold.

So after that, i was getting pissed. He then sold his red hb and bought a off white coupe(ivory white). So now he has a white coupe and i have a white fb. WELL now this is the last straw, its making me sick. He Is painting his Ivory white 240 the exact same shade of white as my car. Aspen white pearlglow. So he has the same wheels, same stereo, had the same suspension( i got coils now) same color car, same exhaust, etc.

Im like D*MN if you wanted my car that bad, i would have sold the dang thing to ya.

(Now, i know that im not the first person to mod my car like that, i am not totally original, BUT how could a friend copy everything you do to your car. Im almost tempted to sell mine now.)

Sorry for the long post, but im just ranting.

Yeah im really considering it. And im am not even exaggerating about the copying, its to a point that it is rediculous. I dont see how he could do that and not feel like a total douche. Im just dumbfounded by the whole thing. I asked him earlier today if he bothered that his making his car look just like mine, and he was like "dude mines a coupe and i have brown interior...blah blah blah.."

Thats about the only thing different. Another thing is, i dont want people to see his car and think i was biting off him... but oh well, what can ya do?

i wouldn't mind. my brother has been wanting to get a 240 just like mine and fix it up like mine too. the problem is that the ladies don't care for a loud car like mine so he got a '02 maxima. he still wants a 240sx or 240z. i want a 280z. my brother in law wanted to copy me too but my sister kept him from buying a 240 so he got a jetta like mine instead.

but anyways i wouldn't mine it at all.

No, its not that he has a 240. It the fact that he has copied every single mod i have done to my car. He got the same exacty wheels as me and painted his car the same color as mine. meh. I might just be being retarded.

Sht, that sounds horrible. I've never encountered a copier of such intensity. You have three options, which should be all be done in this order

1. Tell him off on AIM, remember to use caps. Cruise control for anger

2. You can kill him with rainbows.

3. Fill his tub full of ice cream cones

you know what, you got me in the ranting mood. i used to think it would be cool if all my friends got the same car and mod them differently, have a sweet 3 color scheme, and ****, but now this friend thinks i want to do that all the time now. he's like "im gonna get a tC. we should all get one."

on another hand, kinda off subject, another guy thinks he knows more than me about 240s but cant even drive yet. his friend has one, so now he knows more than one that owns one. now i dont know everything that i want to about my car, but i know my personal car better than anybody. its kinda friggin rediculous.

what you need to do is find his weaknesses, and carry them out. haha

You know what you could do to really get back at him... Drive around one day and **** a bunch of people off, or get some police attention, then go park your car in your garage and tip off the police he's been speeding down your street. lawl.
