Lightbulb Crazy swap!?

During my away time from S-Chassis, I ran S30Z's. Back then I was also doing groundwork on a L6-S13 swap. After talking to a couple of members at the Z-boards I was on, the swap sounded more and more for me (I benched that idea because I loved driving the Z).... now, It looks like I'm finally getting to do it. I grabbed a S30 with a shot body and sound drivetrain and now I'm looking for the S13. Eventually I'll run a stroker set-up like my old car (maybe even boosted, if I can find the bits). With everyone doing RBs, SRs, 1/2JZs and V8s, I'm wondering if I've gone completely mad? The L-series is older than the others in all aspects, but it's still a nasty little motor IMHO.

I'll be doing this swap regardless, but I'm just looking into hearing what some of my fellow S13 owners have to say

I know! That's the way I feel about it! Hearing that sucker growl when I was running around town~~~ Heaven, pure heaven. I think you' liked that car. Especially screwing with the ricers around Crazy Ray's> Adding the Stroker and ITBs, even better. I've seen a few TT L28s, and those are freakin' scary. With ITBs and stroked is my way. If I go ITB turbo (I might....later), I still a SK or HKS surge tank, and I can't get those state-side

I come across 'tanks once in a blue moon on HybridZ, and then they're like 600-800$. ITB-turbo is hard, I've seen it done (want a challenge), now if I were suicidal, I'd go blow-thru carburated turbo. Draw through Holley 4bbl carb (like Turbo Tom) isn't as hard, just need to have it jetted differently. But then, I think I may be happy with the stroker-ITB set-up. I kinda have a thing for N/A L6.

Although, I happen to know where I can get a VQ from.....hehehe.
